Story: Image of Victory starts as we meet Egyptian journalist Mohamed Hassanein Heikal (Khoury) who has become a newsreel for the battle of Nitzanim, where he is assigned to help motivate the generals in believing they are doing the right thing. On the other side of this battle is Mira Ben-Ari (Rieger) who has the connection with the community, that will help motivate them to do the right thing to fight for what is right for them.
Thoughts on Image of Victory
Thoughts – Image of Victory is a unique war movie, showing both sides of a conflict, showing how two main people in the war saw the situation and looked to use their own influence to motivate the people around them. Both sides get a chance to show what they want to achieve from their part in the conflict, be it Mira’s wanting to keep the community together, or Mohamed wanting to show war from a neutral point of view, showing what it is causing to people just wanting to defend their homes. It does show the importance of every conflict the world has seen, showing how people learned about things, showed the truth and help create a better world, even with sacrifice. The performances in this movie are strong, with the two leads getting the spotlight, with the supporting cast being a welcome addition on screen.
