We used to juice a lot. Orange and carrots are Mila's favorites. We love how healthy and refreshing it feels. Since we moved to our new place 3 months ago, the juicer had stayed on its box, unnoticed. Fresh juices are my favorite because it's packed with nutrients and a fun way to get hydrated. On days when Mila just would not eat anything, she still drinks her juice. Since the juicer had taken a vacation, we now rely on store bought, ready to drink juices.Fruit Juice vs. Fruit Nectar vs. Fruit DrinkWhen at the grocery, most people just look at the flavor. Are they going for Orange, Apple, or Cranberry juice? We think that we are getting the fruits' benefits if we drink the juices. But if you read the label carefully, not all juices are created equal. Fruit juice contains 100% fresh fruit juice or concentrate that has been processed after extracting water from it. It only has water, natural flavoring, and sometimes fruit pulp as additional ingredients.Fruit nectar has fruit juice content that can vary between 25 and 99 percent. Within the beverage industry, nectar is a fruit juice that is too thick to drink – for example, from apricots, peaches and cranberries. The juice, or rather the purée, must therefore be diluted with water and have sugar added to make it drinkable.Fruit drinks or still drinks on the other hand barely contains any fruit at all. It can have as low as 2 percent fruit content. That means that all you get will be sugar and preservatives. It's better to drink sugar water on this case.Knowing the difference, you would realize that not all juices are created equal. When buying ready-to-drink juices, read the fine print. Whether it's apple, mango, peach, or pineapple, get the drink with the most percentage of real fruit. For my family, we prefer Cranberry Juice.#ilovehealthyfruitjuices: I Choose Old Orchard Cranberry JuiceTo get my family to drink this healthy fruit juice, a bottle of Old Orchard Cranberry juice is always included in our grocery list. I choose this because we love the taste. Not too sweet but not too tart either. You really get the taste of cranberries because it is a perfect balance of the real fruit concentrate diluted with water (cranberry Juices are nectars because of it's too potent taste and texture), I've always had trouble with my urinary tract and this helps prevent any infection. I feel like I can pee better when ever I have at least a glass of Cranberry Juice daily. In addition, every eight-ounce serving of 100% Old Orchard Cranberry Juice is equivalent to two servings of fruit. I drink 3 or more and that already gives me the recommended five servings if fruits and vegetables each day.10 Things You Need To Know About Cranberries
