Honda was finally forced to discontinue their X-Blade motorcycle in the Indian market. Launched in 2018, this bike did not do well in the country. Sales were not going well. In fact the Honda X-Blade fails to grab attention due to the presence of value for money models like Pulsar, Apache in this segment. So the bike tour stopped.

Although Honda has not officially said anything about this, the name of the X-Blade model has been removed from the official website of the Japanese company in this country. However, dealers are believed to still have the motorcycle in stock. Again they may be offered to buyers at a good discount to clear stock.

Based on the first generation CB Hornet 160R, the Honda X-Blade bike has a sharp and aggressive design both at the front and rear. It uses a 162.61 cc single cylinder, air cooled, engine that produces 13.93 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 13.9 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. Comes with five speed gearbox.

The X-Blade used to get a mileage of 40-45 kmpl. The fuel tank capacity was 12 litres. Disc brakes were available on the front wheels only. The bike runs on 17 inch wheels with tubeless tires. It was available in the market in four color options.
And the latest price was Rs 1.14 lakh (ex-showroom).
