If you do one OTHER thing in London this week, make sure that it’s… book tickets for a play next week! If You Do One OTHER Thing In London This Week…
The White Bear in Kennington is one of London’s most vibrant fringe theater venues and it’s hosting the previews for what promises to be one of the hits of the Edinburgh Festival 2013 – The Confessions of Gordon Brown.
In this new one man show, Gordon Brown (played by Ian Grieve) hilariously exposes the darkest secrets of being Prime Minister, the stab-in-the-back plottings, the betrayals and most importantly – the hair gel. In a candid portrait of life inside Downing Street, Gordon at last reveals what it takes to knife your way to the top and rule a nation. And how his dream of power all went wrong.
The play is written by Emmy nominated writer and director Kevin Toolis and runs in London from the 18th – 22nd June.
The White Bear Theatre, 138 Kennington Park Road, London SE11 4DJ
