If You Do One OTHER Thing In London This Week…

By Lwblog @londonwalks

If You Do One OTHER Thing In London This Week…Our slot in which we point you in the direction of other great happenings and events in our great city. A new exhibition, a gig, a museum, a pop-up-shop – the best of London within a few minutes of a London Walks walking tour.
We love the Grant Museum! Our favorite London museum always has a range of events that are fascinating, odd, off the beaten track, quirky and unmissable. (We hope the same applies to our London Walks!)
If You Do One OTHER Thing In London This Week… The Big Question

Wednesday 6th March, 6pm-8.30pm
Grant Museum of Zoology,  Rockefeller Building,  University College London,  University Street,  WC1E 6DE
6.9 billion people live on our planet. Is that too many? Join us for what promises to be a night of lively discussion and debate as we ask The Big Question.  Should we control human population growth?  Speakers from the worlds of ecology, history, conservation and economics have been brought together to discuss what some people believe to be the undiscussable.  Each one has selected an object from our collection to illustrate and support their point of view.
Come along to the Grant Museum for a free drinks reception, a chance to view the objects and hear from the speakers about their selection between 6pm and 6:45pm before they present their arguments at the J Z Young lecture theater from 7pm. This event is free, there is no need to book.

A London Walk costs £9 – £7 concession. To join a London Walk, simply meet your guide at the designated tube station at the appointed time. Details of all London Walks can be found at www.walks.com.
