If You Are Single and Looking, Consider Advertising

By Datecoachtoni @CoachToni

If you are single and getting tired of online dating, singles groups and using a variety of dating services with no luck- there’s a new way to help you market yourself. Rob Young and Rina Mardahi, a couple who met by chance when on vacation and are only together because they took that first step and said hello, designed a silicone wristband called MY Single Band that tells other available singles that one encounters in the course of their daily life but would probably never have the opportunity to connect with that they are available and looking. It comes in seven colors and was designed to be stylish and easily worn with different outfits in a variety of settings.

For some, this may seem too obvious and perhaps desperate. But if you really think about it, it’s no different from placing an online ad on a dating site or signing up for singles events or joining a singles group. You would be letting others know you are looking for compatible others- and it would give you greater potential access to the many available singles you (almost) encounter in your everyday life and environment who just become missed connections.

What have you got to lose? If nothing else, it would make a great conversation starter.
