The team lead at Platforms Africa, Adeola Yusuf, has revealed what the federal government can do to the Dangote refinery in order to make sure that the price of fuel is dragged down for the benefit of Nigerians. In a video that was posted by TVC News, he disclosed that if the federal government of Nigeria can get Dangote to supply the local market, it will drastically drag down the price of petrol.
In his statement, he said, “When we raised issues about Dangote rifenery being in a free trade zone and being 100 percent not liable to Nigerians, that was when the Nigerian government, through NNPC, acquired 20 percent of Dangote rifenery. If the FG can get Dangote to supply the local market, it will drag down the price of petrol. But what we can lay claim to in Dangote rifenery right now is just 20 percent, while the remaining 80 percent is still in the hands of those who are not Nigerians.”..……..See More
