This is just something I did for fun; matching up Old Hollywood actresses with Disney princesses. I used both looks and personality for this and please keep in mind, Old Hollywood wasn’t big on diversity, but I did my best.
Rita Hayworth as Ariel: both are fun and flirty redheads.
Lana Turner as Aurora: both stunning blondes who made men weak at the knees.
Audrey Hepburn as Belle: both were more than just a pretty face.
Grace Kelly as Cinderella: both gorgeous blondes who worked hard and became princesses.
Gene Tierney as Jasmine: both with exotic looks and a smoldering presence.
Simone Simon as Snow White: both dark-haired women with a sweet fragility to them.
Hedy Lamarr as Pocahontas: both beautiful but stoic, with strength and mystery.
Judy Garland as Wendy: both were “not a girl, not yet a woman”.
Elizabeth Taylor as Esmeralda: both considered to be sexy and alluring with fun reputations.
Anna May Wong as Mulan: both hard working and stereotype-breaking.
Shirley Temple as Alice: both sweet and childlike.
Vivian Leigh as Jane: both pretty ladies with reputations for being pretentious but lovable.
Veronica Lake as Tinkerbell: both lovely blondes who know how to use sex appeal.
Dorothy Dandridge as Tiana: both ladies who worked hard to fight stereotypes and accomplish their dreams.
Marilyn Monroe as Charlotte: both voluptuous blondes with big hearts who knew how to have fun.
Lauren Bacall as Megara: both raspy-voiced vixens who knew the value of independence.
Katherine Hepburn as Rapunzel: both adventurous and out-spoken ladies.
Maureen O’Hara as Merida: both fiery redheads who made their own path.
Lena Horne as Kida both feisty women who stood strong for a good cause.
Lucille Ball as Jessie; both funny redheads who steal the show.
