I Welcome the Pendant, It's an Easy Way to ID the Wackos out There

Talk about your fashion accessories... do you think you'd like one of these?

I attended a DC Abortion Fund holiday event last night in Dupont Circle. They were raising money by selling these gorgeous and touching handmade sterling silver coat hanger pendants; I am now the proud owner of one of them.

If you would like to own one too, they are giving them to new monthly donors at the $10/month level or higher. Their donation page is here. You just need to note on the donation form that you'd like to receive a pendant (go to that donation page, click "Donate Now," then, as DCAF says, "select monthly gift & @ 'on behalf of' type COAT HANGER"), but it's probably safest to get in touch with them directly to confirm they're still available.

The hanger is about an inch long, and you will need to supply your own chain/charm bracelet etc.

I'm not sure you can get any sicker than this but again, it's a useful thing.  You see anyone wearing one of these, you know you're dealing with a loon.
