I was in Baguio for the first time with my high school classmates, second time with my random roadtrip buddies, and third time with my honorary family, The Belleza’s. 👫👧👦 Be it a 24-hour long haul or 2D1N getaway, going to the Summer Capital always gives me real chill! ❄
After several hours on the road, we had early lunch in Café by the Ruins. Yes, because food is life! 😋 T’was a good power up because we survived tourist spot hopping ‘til night! 💪 Just like what other groups usually do, we went to “default go-to places”: Mines View Park, The Mansion, Wright Park, Baguio Cathedral, and Session Road. 📍
Though I can still count in one hand the number of times I’ve gone to Baguio, I’m always at the lookout of what makes each trip special. 👍 This year’s escapade is extra unique, thanks to the dogs 🐕 I randomly met, my “camping/squatting mission” ⛺ in The Manor; and to top it all: the crazy go kart experience in Burnham Park! 🚴
P.S. Thanks to that go kart experience, I have gauged how I badly behave on the road: scolding “violators” (with a poker face), but taking revenge by bumping their backs and racing with them. 🚨 Oh well, what havoc! Gotta fix a lot before I drive for real! 😅
