I Wanna Be Like.... Mila (Kunis)

Meet my girl crush of the week. OK of the century...whatever. They call her Mila. With this being my birthday week, it got me thinking of all the things I would like to change for the new and upcoming year. It's my golden birthday (24) so I better make this year a good one! Although I will never be able to do everything Mila does (Ashton is still on the hopeful to-do list) what better year than 24 to start trying?
The first thing I need to start doing like her is working out on a regular basis and eating healthy. As much as I wish I could still drive through Dunkin Donuts before work, or get an Egg McMuffin without the Canadian bacon and a side of hash browns for breakfast, my metabolism is without a doubt slowing down. I'd ideally like to be around for a while after age 24 so I am going to start taking better care of myself. Eating more meat, veggies, less grilled food, taking vitamins, working out on a regular basis, etc. Mila is constantly photographed working out and eating salads, which I would probably do too on a daily basis if I was going home to Ashton Kutcher.
Next, I like her personality. She's mastered the "I'm a really sweet girl but don't fuck with me" vibe. I tend to go to polar opposite, mood extremes...Yeah, not too many people would argue that point. Her relaxed, calm, go with the flow vibe is something I need to adopt, while at the same time you can tell the girl has a back bone.
She wears little to no makeup at almost all times. I think this year I need to start taking advantage of being young. Before the wrinkles and age spots come on, I should go out bare skinned 99% of the time. I will stick to throwing on the bronzer and mascara and excessive eyeliner for a Saturday night. This year I am going to embrace the winter whites.
Mila inspired me to go back to my natural hair color. Which I will be doing this Tuesday. I'm lucky enough to have an olive skin complexion, so there is no need for me to have my hair as light as it is right now. The ombre thing was fun, I knew I was going to have to do it at some point to get it out of my system. Isn't that what your twenties is all about, getting things out of your system? Hair color is one of the most normal things I've ever had to get out of my system. But that phase is over. I am going to go back to a medium, pretty brown color.
She only emphasizes one feature on her face at a time. So many girls are constantly making the mistake of doing too much, while Mila has mastered this concept. Whether it is her bold brows, lips, cheek bones, makeup to enhance the size of her eyes, etc....she picks one to stick out and works around it to create a natural yet beautiful look.
Lastly- her smile and confidence! I love how her character is the same in every movie and TV show...that means she is playing herself. It shows Mila is real and down to earth, and that is not something that can be faked. She's successful, creative, beautiful, smart, and talented, so I would love to model my 24th year of life after her. Wish me luck.
