I heart you, Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream.

An ode to my new favorite cult beauty product.
It’s a rare occurrence these days that I devote an entire post to a new beauty find. I’m a creature of habit when it comes to skincare; I know what I like and I know precisely what works for me… And so why would I possibly deviate from my carefully selected seven-step routine?
Enter Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream.

When the wonderful Harrods beauty team got in touch with me about possibly reviewing the infamous Charlotte Tilbury moisturiser, I couldn’t wait to see what the fuss was all about. Housed in a beautiful glass jar with a copper lid, it’s a seriously beautiful addition to my dressing table and one that I honestly, hand-on-heart, couldn’t imagine my day without.
My primary skin concerns revolve around it being a little dry at times and suffering from a lack of color to my skin come the morning. A heady blend of BioNymph Peptide Complex, floral extracts, a hyaluronic acid booster, rosehip and camellia oils make the Magic Cream just that - magic. The cream is thick and whipped to a smooth mousse-like butter, ideal for night wear. I tend to layer a thin layer all over my face (100% warning you not to get it near your eyeballs) and wake up glowing skin that’s moisturised and feelin’ fresh.

And it’s not just great for a fresh and youthful complexion. I, of course, packed my Magic Cream for my recent travels to Bali, Malaysia and Hong Kong - gotta keep that skincare up - imagining it being the perfect counter-product for all that salty sea air, city pollution and tropical sun. Our unsung hero of the trip, this cute little pot totally salvaged our sunburn in the first week and even impressed Daisybf who went on to recommend it to all of HIS friends! Magic Cream is a little pricier than most moisturisers out there but given a solid test run by us both in four different climates, I can absolutely vouch for its’ magical properties. Harry P would even be impressed!
