Of course, I couldn't give a rat's arse about the Superbowl, but having furren languages sing a patriotic song was a bit too much for some people. but, I bet the same people didn't know that German was almost made an official language pre-14-18 War (that's the First World War for you lot who didn't want to be "over there" until it was nearly over over there, but that lateness was also due to the large German population). Unfortunately, lots of nasty propaganda about Germans and Germany, which was a trend that continued into the next war (and possibly beyond that).
On the other hand, just think what the world would be like today if people like Henry Ford, Charles Lindbergh, Lillian Gish, and this crowd had their way.
Anyway, some of the ATMs in these here parts can have more languages than an Austro-Hungarian banknote or an EU passport. Not to mention that if you use a furren credit card your card's language will come up in a lot of credit card machines (even in the USA). One of my bank's ATMs actually has a Chinese option (No, it's not HSBC or the one in the picture). BTW, the pictured company's ATMs may actually also have an Irish option!
Gach ceart!
So much for asking about the German or French (or Dutch) option. Still, I wish they would give more language options in the US besides English or Spanish.
In fact, it would be nice if the US caught up with the rest of the world--rather than fall behind it.
Oh, yeah. You lead the world in Mass shootings. I think you have more than Afghanistan does.
