According to Daily Post Nigeria, The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has acknowledged that he was wrong in his assessment of Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State.

Wike implored God and his political supporters in Rivers State to forgive him. He spoke at a public event in Ogu-Bolo, where Chief George Thompson Sekibo was being honored for his 36 years of public service.

Wike assured the crowd that he would correct any mistakes he had made in the future. Furthermore, he promised to keep challenging his critics to reveal their weaknesses.

According to Wike: “I want to say this clearly: in life, we make mistakes.

“I have made a mistake. I own it up and I say God forgive me. I have said all of you forgive me. But we will correct it at the appropriate time.

“I am human. I am bound to make mistakes. So forgive me for making a wrong judgment. So nobody should kill.”

Wike also urged his supporters in the state legislature not to succumb to intimidation, reassuring them that they would not be ousted from their roles as lawmakers.

“Many of you may not comprehend this fully. This is our duty. Our objective is to instill fear in them. That is my purpose.

“We will consistently provoke them, causing them to be constantly enraged and consequently make errors.”.…….See More
