Termites will make their way into your home usually by way of penetrations or over the outside foundation slab. So checking involves a few specific items to check, here is my list and procedure:
- Check the outside of the home at the base, stucco should not touch stone or soil.
- Check any wood on the outside of the home.
- Check sheds and they should sit on concrete or some type of paver or block.
