If you haven’t seen this car before, it’s my 1971 Ford Torino 500. It’s a mess. There are holes everywhere, broken parts, and a tree growing out of the rear quarter panel. I don’t car about this car.
However, I was getting very tired of the broken fan shroud constantly falling onto the fan, and being shredded up even more. So, I decided to fix it on the cheap: free.
Since I don’t care, a soda can seemed perfect. With some glue, cable ties, a drill, and a Great Value cream soda can, I took my fan shroud from junk, to fixed junk.
Would I recommend this? NO WAY! Buy a new/used one. One for the car was $100-$150. with the state of this car, that could go a much longer way with fiberglass and filler. So, soda can it is!
Check out the video to see how I rednecked the soda can into place. Enjoy, and don’t do this at home!
