President Muhammadu Buhari has countered the Minister of State for Energy for saying he ordered the sack of the administration of the Abuja Electrical energy Distribution Firm, AEDC.
In an announcement signed by Garba Shehu, the President's Spokesman stated the assertion credited to the Minister of State for Energy can't be true.
"This cannot be true. Since the privatization of the Power Sector in 2013, the management of the successor companies has reverted to the new owners," the Presidency stated.
The assertion stated for that reason it's completely misplaced and inconceivable that Buhari could be linked to the administration of a non-public group such because the AEDC, not to mention sacking it.
"It is gladdening to note that the minister quoted in the statement has himself distanced from it," the spokesman added.
