Story: I Care A Lot starts as we meet crooked legal guardian Marla Grayson (Pike). She runs an operation with Fran (Gonzalez) where she is given power of attorney over elderly clients and places them in nursing facilities. Marla uses the money to live a life of luxury and now she is in search of her latest job.

However, Marla’s latest client Jennifer Peterson (Wiest) isn’t as lonely as she imagined. After putting Jennifer in the care facility, gangster Roman Lunyov (Dinklage) learns what has happened. He sends his men to get her out of the medical facility, as Marla might have met her match.

Verdict on I Care A Lot

I Care A Lot is a crime thriller following a con artist that has been taking advantage of the elderly for years. She gets a judge to give them power of attorney and then takes all their money. Her latest client turns out to be more than she bargained for as she upsets a group of deadly criminals.

This is a clever crime thriller with questionable moral decisions being played. Neither side of the two criminals going after each other is doing anything you can support. The cat-n-mouse battle between the two is tense and keeps us guessing along the way. Rosamund Pike and Peter Dinklage are great throughout the movie too.

Final Thoughts I Care A Lot is a tense clever thriller that keeps us guessing.
