There is nothing more fun than turning the volume all the way up #MusicIsEverything

I've pretty much found the perfect music app in Songza. It's free. Download it. Any mood you're in, just tell it and it'll play the perfect soundtrack. Music is everything. You know how you can hear that one song from 15 years ago as you're driving at night and it takes you right back? Yeah well I love that feeling. It's funny how before technology was where it is today, you had to actually play a CD or cassette or album basically from start to finish and really love it cuz, yeah, what choice did you have? No one was gonna play one song and then switch out the cassette. It was all or nothing. Don't get me wrong, there's something really cool about putting in Radiohead's "Kid A" and hitting play and listening for an hour straight without interruption, but it seems like those times are gone. That being said, I love the free availability of music. There's so much out there and it's all free for the taking now. How awesome is that?

Then, add to that the fact that I'm able to pull up the app on my phone, hit a single button, and now it's playing through my home system's speakers? Ladies and gentlemen we've just lost cabin pressure. Yeah, I'm in my own personal nirvana right now.

I probably shouldn't, but I think I'm gonna go have a beer with my Tiffany over at The Cove. Quiet, chill, and imports on special. Guinness calling my name. I'll take it. I work mañana. Tailboard on Engine 7. Another day in paradise. It's like going to camp every third day. I actually look forward to going to work. Here's to another fun day at the station. Maybe we'll get lucky and catch a good burner. My helmet could use some more black on it. ;)
