Indian company Hyve™ has launched India's first Certified Android Deca-core smartphone. This is Hyve Pryme™ and it is equipped with MediaTek flagship Helio X20 processor.
Hyve is a very new entrant in Indian mobile market. They are an Indian brand who have launched only two smartphones previous to the recently launched flagship Pryme. The earlier devices by Hyve are Buzz and Storm. Both offer pure Android experience with decent hardware specifications and affordable pricing.
Let's see what Hyve's flagship Pryme offers:
MediaTek Helio X20 processor:
The deca-core processor is one of the biggest highlights of Pryme. The device is powered by the 2.3 GHz MediaTek Helio X20 SoC. This is the world's first mobile processor with Tri-Cluster CPU architecture and ten processing cores (Deca-core). The Tri-Cluster CPU helps in optimizing the performance and can deliver more speed with less RAM.
Speaking at the launch of Pryme, Mr. Arthur Wang, Senior Director, Corporate Sales International, MediaTek Inc commented, "MediaTek's collaboration with Hyve is a benchmark for both organizations as we bring forward our best technologies to develop and deliver outstanding smartphone experience for the consumers. The new Hyve smartphone, Pryme, is enabled with MediaTek's flagship Helio X20 SoC, which is embedded with a tri-cluster CPU that will allow the smartphone to multitask efficiently by shifting workload from one cluster to another, thereby delivering an extreme computing performance and unmatched power efficiency."
Other Key Specifications of Hyve Pryme:
Pryme runs on pure Android 6.0 OS with Google Certification. This gives a bloatware free experience to the user. There are no other third-party apps on Pryme. Hyve claims that the device is highly optimized for better performance. As per Hyve, while most other smartphones have about 50-53% RAM free for use, Pryme can keep upto 73% of RAM free for use.
It has 5.7" IPD capacitive display which makes it a big screen phone. It has 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. 4GB RAM is quite sufficient to ensure a good speed of the smartphone. It has 13MP f/2 rear camera with dual flash and 8MP front camera with front flash.
