It's an exciting week as we ring in the new year and as usual the PGA Tour kicks off from one of my favorite places on earth, Hawaii! The Hyundai Tournament of Champions, taking place in Kapalua, offers some of the most breathtaking golf you'll ever see. The Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort will be the playground for this weeks field of PGA professionals, which is chalked with talent.
I always find it interesting to see which players are able to recuperate from the Christmas festivities and feasting, regain their focus and ring in the new year with a PGA Tour victory. After reviewing the field, here's a look at the players I'll be keeping a close eye on...
Adam Scott: On fire as of late, Adam Scott nearly completed the Australian Triple Crown, settling for second place at the Aussie Open. He's top on my list to keep the momentum going and start 2014 off with a win.
Harris English: With an explosive season in 2013, I fully expect Harris English to hit the ground running this year.
Ryan Moore: Holding his own throughout the 2013 season, including 4 top 11 finishes in his last six starts, I think Moore will be ready to step up his game.
Dustin Johnson: Winning this event last year in less than optimal conditions, I'm sure Dustin Johnson will bring his 'A' game this year in an attempt at a repeat victory.
Here's a look at my completed Golf Channel fantasy picks:
