The big news is that Councilman Davis’s opponent Day Gardener actually recieved 389 votes after telling a room full of Black folk that she didn’t vote in the last election.  Ha!  Watch out now! 

Neighbors in the Knox Box, College Park area can rest a little better now that two men have been arrested in connection with a series of home burglaries.

Redistricting map approved by the Maryland Senate with a 33-13 vote.  All Senate republicans voted against it and so did Dem. Dist. 26  Senator  Anthony Muse.   House of Delegates vote expected today.
