Huawei Mate 40 Pro Plus has been launched with Kirin 9000 SoC, 12GB RAM, and Quad rear camera setup. It is the most expensive and powerful smartphone among the Mate 40 series. Huawei Mate 40 Pro Plus offered in two color options – Ceramic Black, Ceramic White color option and runs on EMUI 11.0 based on Android 10 of the box.

According to the report, Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a 6.76-inch full-HD+ (1,344×2,772 pixels) OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The screen comes with a 91.6℅ screen-to-body ratio, 441 PPI density, and HDR10 certified. The Smartphone is powered by Kirin 9000 processor, Mali G78 MP24 GPU, and coupled with up to 12GB of RAM + 256GB storage.


In terms of optics, The smartphone is equipped with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel (primary) sensor with an aperture of f/1.9 + 20-Megapixel (ultra-wide) sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 + 12-megapixel (telephoto) sensor with f/3.4 aperture + 8-megapixel SuperZoom camera with 10x optical zoom and f/4.4 aperture. On the front, It has a 13-megapixel selfie shooter, along with a 3D depth-sensing camera.


It packs a 4,400mAh battery with the support of 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. In terms of sensors, The smartphone includes the support of gesture sensor, gravity sensor, IR sensor, in-display fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, compass, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, laser sensor, color temperature sensor, 3D Face Recognition sensor, and a barometric pressure sensor.


For connectivity, it has 5G, 4G FDD LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The device measures 162.9×75.5×8.8mm thickness and weighs 230 grams.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ comes in a single variant of 12GB + 256GB variant which costs EUR 1,399 (around Rs. 1.21 lakh). There is also a Porsche Design Mate 40 RS that features 12GB + 512GB configuration and costs EUR 2,295 (around Rs. 1.99 lakh). It has a different design in the comparison of regular Mate 40 series phones and is delivered in a black and a white color option.
