Huawei Mate 40 features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,376 pixels) OLED display. The screen has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, The phone is powered by the Kirin 9000E chipset, 24-core Mali-G78 GPU, and, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM + 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. For more storage, It comes with a hybrid sim slot through which the user can expand the phone storage up to 256GB.
Coming to the optics, The Mate 40 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel (primary sensor) with an f/1.9 aperture + 16-megapixel (Ultrawide) sensor with f/2.2 lens + 8-megapixel (telephoto) sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. On the front, It comes with a 13-megapixel selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.4. It packs a 4,200mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging.
In terms of Connectivity, The smartphone includes the support of 5G, 4G FDD LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging. For sensors, The Huawei Mate 40 includes a gesture sensor, gravity sensor, IR sensor, in-display fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, compass, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, laser sensor, and a color temperature sensor. The Huawei Mate 40 carries a price tag of EUR 899 (around Rs. 78,000) for the sole variant of 8GB + 128GB variant. The company has not revealed the pricing of its 256GB storage variant.yet.
