Huawei Launches the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition with Google Apps

Huawei officially launched the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, a new name for a cell phone that is basically updated on the outside while maintaining the same internal specifications.

The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition arrives after we met the Huawei P40 Pro less than two months ago and amid the company’s ongoing struggle in the United States, whose veto remains intact, preventing it from doing certain business with companies from this country, including Google, which cannot provide its services.

The device is simply an update to the latest high-end cell phone with access to Google services.

The Huawei P40 Pro is an ideal cell phone, which survives perfectly without Google applications, but the mass public is less attracted to a cell phone that does not have access to their favorite applications: Google Maps, Gmail, Hangouts, Google Photos.

The Huawei website in Germany assures that it is a “limited” edition, which will also include the FreeBuds 3, a mini speaker and a discount to buy the Huawei Watch GT 2 for free.

The new Huawei P30 Pro New Edition comes in black, aurora, and silver colors, different shades in some markets than those originally launched with the Huawei P30 family last year.

The phone in its 8GB version of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at €749, about $812.

We have asked the company if this “new” cell phone will reach other countries. We will update this note when we have more information.
