Hua Hin Girls, Beaches And A Plate Of Fish

By Harvie

I had a few friends from England come visit me this week, and with the recent bombings in Bangkok, they thought it wise to head to another city in the Kingdom.

Our first choice was Krabi, but when we went to book the flight the day after a drunken evening at Route 66, Air Asia wouldn’t let us. Apparently you need to book flight tickets 4 hours before takeoff (6 hours for Thai Airways) online, so Krabi was out the window.

I suggested we visit Hua Hin as it’s only a few hours away and we can just get a Taxi.

We ended up grabbing the first taxi we saw and offered him 2,000 baht to take us to Hua Hin. On the return we only played 1,500 baht, I think this is because most drivers are going back that way and would rather take you for 1,500 than the usual rate of 2,000 baht.

Hua Hin girls

Finding girls in Hua Hin during the day is pretty hard. Unless you visit Market Village, your only other real option is Thai Friendly to meet girls for dates and what not. It is low season so maybe that had something to do with it, but I don’t think that should affect the amount of local girls in the area?

In the evening we ventured into the beer bars on the prowl for some sexy Hua Hin girls. We started out at Hua Hin Soi 80 which is a 200 meter strip of beer bars. I’d say around 80% of all the women were over 30 with hotties few and far between.

Me and my buddies went into a few bars to drink some 60 baht beers, the staff were polite, friendly and not aggressive unlike Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza.

The downside? They were about as twice as old and half as attractive.I found the girls got prettier the more I drank.

I think there were like 5 girls in Hua Hin Soi 80 that were super hot (out of about 100), the rest had seen better days.

If you want a hand job massage in Hua Hin, there are 2 massages that will gladly assist you on Soi 80. But overall the girls of Hua Hin were nothing to write home about here.

Our next stop was the Hilton in Hua Hin which has a nightclub that opens till around 2am every night.
The club is fairly cheap but I had a hard time figuring out the demographic of Thai Women. A lot of them were Thai bar girls but there were regular girls there to who were just having fun.

I only headed to the club once so my information is still quited limited.

Note: a few bars in Soi 80 do have ladyboys and they are hard to spot. Barfine on average in Hua Hin was 300 baht with rates starting at 1,500 baht for short time.

Hua Hin beaches

I’ve been to Hua Hin before and I wasn’t too impressed with the beaches, nor was I again during low season. If you want cracking beaches head to Phuket or Krabi, but in low season I don’t think they are going to be all that great either.

If it doesn’t rain the beach will be fairly clean and the water is clear but nothing amazing. I come to Hua Hin because it’s close to Bangkok, I don’t have to fly, it’s easier to get around and best of all – it’s f****ing cheap.

Think of it as a coastal resort and not a lush Thai island.

Other stuff

Asides from drinking, me and my buddies visited the Monkey Temple which as the name suggests is full of monkeys. There are people selling food that you can give to the monkeys but be careful, as there will be a hundred or so of the little kunts around you before you know it.

Drinking is cheap and it’s pretty hard to find a place that charges more than 100 baht for a beer. There are a bunch of regular bars on Soi 94 which had a few normal Hua Hin girls but was still quiet (guess because of low season).

There is also plenty of seafood and you can find lobster and king prawns at the night market, but pricey but it’s a cool touristy thing to do.

Should you visit Hua Hin?

I like Hua Hin. It’s not a place that will amaze you but it’s a good place to spend a few lazy days by the beach, eating good food and drinking cheap beers.

I only spent two days so my comments about Hua Hin girls may be a little off. Have you been to Hua Hin? What are you thoughts?
