HTC One M9 Vs. One M10 – What Specs and Features Will Have the Upcoming Flagship?

Posted on the 29 November 2015 by Dailyfusion @dailyfusion

It's a bit too early to talk about the specs and features of the upcoming One M10, because there isn't more information about his flagship, but we'll present you a list of rumors which have surfaced lately. So, get ready to meet the new One M10, which could be released sooner than its predecessor.

One M10

It seems that the first images of the One M10 already reached the internet, being published by the Chinese website Mobile-Dad. In the images, the One M10 has a sleek body with slim bezels and its back is made of metal, as usual. The phone really needs a design overhaul, because its predecessor is almost identical to the One M8 and we don't know what HTC could think of, but the curved aluminum unibody with two thin lines at the top and bottom is obsolete, although the device looks premium. And considering that Apple accused HTC of making its HTC One A9 look almost identical to an iPhone, it's time for a big improvement.

Regarding the internal specs, the One M10 is expected to feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 3.X GHz octa-core HMP cyclone processor which will support 4GB of RAM. The internal memory might come in variants of 64GB and 128GB, with the possibility to add a microSD card for expansion, and the main camera might be upgraded to 27MP and the screen will finally support a 4K resolution, like most of the new flagships. But its size won't suffer, although there were rumors saying that the One M10 will have a 6-inch screen. Most likely, the device will stick to its old 5-inch screen. As for the battery, it will have a capacity of 3,500mAh and will be quick charged via the Type-C port. The retail price of the One M10 will be between $650 and $800, depending on the internal memory or specifications. The device might come with a fingerprint scanner, as Marshmallow has now support for fingerprint readers, allowing the users to make online payments using Android Pay.

One M9

The phone offers a Full HD resolution on its 5-inch Super LCD3 screen, it's powered by a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 octa core processor clocked at 2GHz, which is backed by 3GB of RAM, and it's planned to be upgraded to Android Marshmallow. Its main camera has been upgraded from 4MP Ultrapixel (which has been moved to its front side) to 20MP, featuring dual-LED flash and autofocus. The battery lasts around 22 hours and comes with HTC's Rapid Charger 2.0 feature, while the capacity is 2840 mAh.
