How Wonder Woman Enters a Scene: 'Justice League' VS 'Wonder Woman'
We've seen Wonder Woman and it was gosh darn good. We also saw Justice League and it was...less good. Warner Brothers doesn't really know what we want from these films. When revisiting them both to try and work out the problem we noticed something about the way the one female character enters a scene, and how different film-makers focus on different things.

It's clear that Patty Jenkins had a portrayal in mind for Wonder Woman. Strong, noble, heroic...it's a consistent depiction of the character.
Although there was something a bit off about how Wonder Woman was shown in the trailers for Justice League ...
...which may have been the result of earnest and horny marketers, I'm sure Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon have a similar approach in mind.

Now before you rush to comments to call me a snowflake SJW cuck, a few notes.
Sexualisation of female comic characters is a long standing issue, and this is technically an accurate representation of the character. But it's clear that there are two ways to approach this in cinema, and one made heaps of box office cash and other did not. Also, shout out to The Hawkeye Initiative. They show Hawkeye in the costumes and poses his female counterparts get put in.
Gal Gadot is a beautiful woman and a selling point for some parts of the intended audience. But she's beautiful in how she's framed in Wonder Woman, you don't need to jam the camera up her butthole for us to notice that.
Finally, I have been selective of the clips in this article because collecting and including them all would be bananas. But try and find camera shots intentionally framing her butt or breasts in Wonder Woman and any entrance shots framing her as noble in Justice League. Go on. Do it.
Fortunately more people are going to see Wonder Woman than Justice League because it knows how to portray its heroes and isn't lame.
