The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 13 running iOS 16. I am using the latest version of the Spotify app for iPhone that was available at the time of this writing.
These steps will show you how to view recently played Spotify iPhone songs.
Now that you know how to find and view your recently listened songs on Spotify, you should be able to find songs you've heard recently that you might have liked but weren't sure of the song title or artist.
More Information on Recently Played Spotify
While you can delete playlists from the Spotify app on your iPhone by going to the Your Library tab, selecting a playlist and then clicking on the heart to delete it, there is no way to delete recently played songs from the Spotify iPhone app.
However, if you have the Spotify desktop app for your Mac or PC, you can scroll down to the "Recently Played" section, right-click on what you want to delete, and select the "Delete" option.
When you find a song in your Recently Played list on Spotify and want to add it to your existing playlist, tap the three dots to the right of the song, then select the Add to playlist option.

Personally, I really like the Go to Radio option. This is a good way to listen to a few songs by this artist as well as other similar songs. This is one of my favorite ways to find new music and has really helped expand the list of artists and songs I find in my daily mixes.
