Step 1: Take advantage of all opportunities and resources.
Simple as it sounds, you may not realize that you have all the opportunities around you, whether it is in school or with friends and family. At first it can start with family holidays when you are younger and then sooner or later, mom and dad can start asking you where you want to go. take advantage! Family trips are always the cheapest when mom and dad cover you! Are friends or family living in a different state or country? Take a trip! Not only will you have a place to stay, but you will basically have your own personal tour guides who can help familiarize you with the area. But beyond using family and friends, you also have resources at school! Going through school, being a solid group, and pre-scheduling all of that, I was able to save a ton of money. And now that I'm in college, there are tons of destinations you can go to study abroad and actually live there!
Step 2: Consider all options.
As much as I want to travel, I know that being in college I cannot go everywhere at any time, please. Create an order or list of all the top destinations you need to travel to. For me personally, I will not go to the same place twice when I can move to a new place and have a new, new experience. Years ago I topped Spain on my bucket list. Now, after waiting patiently and not participating in the average spring break, not only am I able to stay there for a few weeks, I will be able to visit at least three more different destinations while staying abroad Will go, knock one by one bucket. List.
Step 3: Plan → Save
Set a jar or box aside and make it your travel money bank. Whether you set $ 5 every few days or a week or even choose to go out or drink or go out with friends, instead put that money in the box, you will see how quickly you can add Huh. For birthdays or holidays, instead of needing materialistic things, you should ask for donations for your trip. It helps when you tell your family where you want to go, what you want to do there and how happy it will make you. The faster you start saving, the easier it will be when it comes time to buy your ticket. In addition to saving, start putting your plans together. The more you do your research, the more money you can save yourself and the more you can prepare your budget. I found that if you try and plan each day of your day, it saves you from wasting money in eliminating too much shopping, food expenses or even wasting time activities.
