Need to share some juicy gossip from your messaging app? Or maybe you want to share excerpts from an article online with your friends and family? For all those times in your life when you want to share your screen content, you have the handy screenshot feature available. With just a few button presses, you can take a copy of your screen and save it to your gallery. If you're using a Samsung Galaxy S21, here's how to take a screenshot.

Take a screenshot on the Galaxy S21

Once you have something on the screen that you want to take a snapshot of, press both Side (the sleep / wake button) and the Volume Down button at the same time. Make sure you only press the buttons simultaneously and do not hold them down; otherwise, you will trigger the power options screen. When pressed successfully, the screen of your Samsung Galaxy S21 flashes briefly, alerting you that a photo has been saved to your gallery.

Edit your screenshot

When you take a screenshot on a Galaxy S21, you will be presented with an options menu bar right after taking the shot. Four buttons allow you to enter the Clever Capture fashion, Crop / draw your screenshot, Mark your photo to find it later in your gallery easily, or Share your picture. the Share The button is pretty self-explanatory, letting you share the newly captured screenshot with your contacts or through any of your smartphone apps, so let's take a look at the other three options available on the Galaxy.

the Clever Capture The button allows you to continue taking additional screenshots in a scenario where you might want to scroll down to see other content, such as when you're on a webpage. To use the feature, take your first screenshot, then, when the menu bar appears, select the Clever Capture button. Your Galaxy S21 will automatically scroll down the page and take another screenshot, capturing more content than before.

Tap on Arise/ Draw in the menu bar will allow you to crop your image, or, by clicking on the Pen icon, you can write notes and make annotations on your screenshot. Finally, the Mark The button will allow you to specify a tag to assign to the screenshot. When you later visit your photo gallery, you can use the tag to make it easier to find the photo. Your Galaxy S21 will automatically recommend tags or you can create your own.

Viewing your screenshot

To view your screenshot once it's been taken, go to the Gallery app on your device; here you will be able to see all the photos on your smartphone. To display screenshots only, click the button The albums at the bottom of the screen, then choose the Screenshot album. You can edit, delete, or share your screenshot from the gallery, just like you could with any standard photo. Also, don't forget to keep your photos backed up using a cloud storage service so that you don't risk losing valuable information.
