This tutorial requires a computer running Windows 10. Additionally, both the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC must be on the same network. It's also recommended that both the Windows 10 computer and the Xbox One be using a wired connection to your network as WiFi may be too slow for streaming.

How to Stream Xbox One Games to a Windows 10 PC:

  1. Turn on your Xbox One and ensure it is connected to the same network as your computer.
  2. On your Xbox One go to Preferences and then Xbox app connectivity and ensure Allow Play To streaming and Allow game streaming to other devices are selected.
  3. Move to your PC and ensure it is connected to your network. Once connected to your network, open the Xbox app. This app can be found in the Microsoft store and is free to download.
  4. Once in the Xbox app, go to the left sidebar and select Connection.
  5. In the Add a device window, select Connect next to your Xbox.
  6. After selecting your Xbox, select Stream.
  7. Your Xbox will begin streaming to your PC.
