How to Start a Paintball Company

Posted on the 27 February 2018 by Hemantkumar
If you are a paintball enthusiast and have considered taking the plunge into starting a paintball company, we have some advice for you. We are going to break down exactly what you need to have and to do in order to take your dream job from a dream into reality. This is what you need to get going.Paintball CompanyPaintball guns:To begin with, players who visit you are going to need guns. More specifically, you need beginner paintball guns. People who have been playing paintball for a long time are going to already have the guns that they love to use, so they are unlikely to rent a gun from you. Newbies, however, will need to rent something in order to play. Keep the guns simple and easy to use as well to cut down on any learning curve. You will also need to have the gear to rent to customers to ensure safety.Space to play: You are going to need a space or land to have your business. If you are planning on focusing on woodsball, space will need to be outdoors, where with speedball, it can be either indoors or outdoors. Outdoor spaces should have some natural trees and environment in order to offer some shade to work with. If you have space without a natural environment, be aware that you are going to have to create the obstacles for players to use to hide behind. If space is remote, you will have to have a means of transporting people there as well.Know how to market: If you have space and gear ready to go, you will also need to find the people to play. Marketing to businesses as a team building exercise can be a good way to get things rolling. You will need to have a price point already set up here so you know how much to charge people to play and rent equipment.Scope out the competition:You should see what other paintball companies in your area are doing, how they are marketing and think about how you can make it better. If you can get a copy of their price sheets, you should be able to get a baseline for how much is reasonable to charge. See what you like about the competition and what you don’t like in order to better shape how you want your company run.Have competent staff:You will need to have staff who not only know paintball but who love paintball. People who have enthusiasm are more likely to rub off on customers, making them excited to be there as well. Your staff can also help you create games for customers in order to best use the space you have and make sure that they have a good time.
One of the most important things that you can do is having a standard list of procedures and rules in order to ensure that all guests are safe at all times. Rules will keep everyone safe and let them have fun at the same time.
