Truecaller has added a new update on iPhone. The update brings in new features which, as per the company will provide an improved and more secure communication experience for iPhone users worldwide.
The Live Caller ID feature is now available on iPhone and Truecaller has used Apple’s own voice assistant, Siri shortcut to tell users who is calling.
Now, whenever an iPhone user receives an incoming call from an unknown number, they can activate Truecaller with their voice by simply saying “Hey Siri, Search Truecaller”. The app will then take the number, fetch more information about the caller, and show it on the top of the screen.
This means, Truecaller users no longer have to manually search for numbers or copy-paste into the app. Do note that the new feature is exclusively available to premium subscribers of Truecaller on iPhones running iOS 16 and above versions.
Alongside this, Truecaller has also enhanced its spam detection capabilities to identify and protect users from spam calls. Premium subscribers will receive automatic updates to the spam list.
