The new scheduling feature for Instagram messages is helpful for people who want to make their communication easier. You can save time and effort by scheduling messages directly in the Will app. This is useful whether you’re making plans, sending reminders, or handling professional outreach.
Hold the “Send” Button to Schedule Messages
Open the Instagram app on your phone first. To get to your Direct Messages, tap the message icon (or the paper airplane icon) in the upper right corner of the screen.
Pick out the chat where you want to send your message. To start a new chat, tap the “+” sign, pick the person you want to talk to, and start the exchange.
Like you always do, write the message you want to send. Type what you want to say in the message field, whether it’s a greeting, a warning, or something else.

If you want to send something, press and hold the send button. There will be a choice that lets you change the exact date and time of your message. You can pick the AM or PM time and set the day, hour, and minutes to make sure it’s sent at the right time. After you make your choice and confirm the time, the message will be put in a queue to be sent.
How to Manage Scheduled Messages
As soon as the time is set, a message will show up in the chat. Unfortunately, you can’t change the planned message. However, tapping the notification gives you three choices: send the message right away, copy the text to use or change it somewhere else, or delete the scheduled message if you no longer need it.
Remember that you can only plan text messages right now. You can’t schedule media like photos and videos. Last but not least, you can only plan notes up to 29 days ahead of time.
