How To Prepare For Flu and Cold Season!I received product and compensation from Member’s Mark 3-ply facial tissues at Sam’s Club as part of a sponsored program. All opinions are my own.

Well friends, colder temps have finally hit the Chicagoland area and we are super pumped! Since moving back about 6 months ago, my kids have anxiously been anticipating cooler weather without the humidity like we were used to in Atlanta. However, with cooler temperatures means that it's also cold season, lots of sneezing and hopefully keeping germs as far away as possible! How To Prepare For Flu and Cold Season! So far, my kids haven't gotten anything but I still want to be as prepared as I can for this flu and cold season! How can I do that you ask? I've got a few tips to help you get ready! How To Prepare For Flu and Cold Season!Stock up on supplies - Be ready before cold and flu season starts. Load up on tissues such as Member's Mark 3-ply facial tissues from Sam's Club. Their top rated Member's Mark Premium 12 pack contains plush, durable, gentle, thick and absorbent tissues to stand up to the toughest colds or awful allergies. Having a tissue box always on hand, I'm confident that I'm as prepared as I can be for whatever life can bring. I also love that the tissues have over 900 tissues per pack! While shopping at my local Sam's Club I also picked up hand soap, hand sanitizer, and paper towels. Consider picking up a few distractions in case your kids get sick, like puzzles, coloring books, or DVDs.How To Prepare For Flu and Cold Season!Check your medicine cabinet. Make sure it contains pain relievers, fever reducers, and any other medications you use when your family is fighting colds or the flu, like decongestants or cough syrups. Review the correct doses based on age and weight. Check to see if any medications overlap or interact. Test your thermometer to make sure the batteries still work. How To Prepare For Flu and Cold Season!Clean your humidifier. Be strict about washing hands. Germ hands spread colds and the flu. Tell your family to scrub their hands well with soap for 20 seconds. Tell kids to wash for as long as it takes to sing"Happy Birthday" twice. Make sure you do it, too!Set up sanitizer stations. Put a bottle of hand sanitizer in every room. Make sure it's at least 60% alcohol. Use a squirt as you pass by-- and get everyone else to do the same. Plan for sick days. You may need some days off. Even if you don't get sick, you may need to take care of your sick kids! How To Prepare For Flu and Cold Season!I'm loving that I can be as prepared as I can for the cold and flu season thanks to these easy steps and stocking our house up with the proper essentials such as Member's Mark 3-ply Facial Tissues. I love their new design too so it's perfect for upcoming holidays for guests to use when they come to visit.
