Today I feel very (like, ridicuously) fortunate to share a guest post from one of the most insanely talented ladies I know. Shaye Woolford from On My Hand (yep that is the pretty lady in the pic above) is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to all things weddings, and it my honor to feature her fabness on the blog!

Not only does she consistanly blow my mind with her unique styling & ahead of trend florals, but Shaye has shown me an insane amount of support since I started my lil blog 2 years ago. Damn this lady kicks ass.

Today’s first diy project is something that I have never seen before and yet is so beautifully simple. Enjoy x

On MY Hand Props Styling Flora

This is a beautiful and unique way to mark a place for guests at an intimate gathering.  All you need is a couple of picture frames and be willing to forage and you’ll have yourself a really interesting place setting!  You could even add a printed name next to the piece of foliage.

what you need

2 x A4 picture frames

A sprig of your chosen foliage or flower (we used Maiden Hair Fern)

step one

Dismantle your picture frames, setting aside the frames – You could use these for your photobooth.

step two

Using the two pieces of glass, place one over the top of the other, adding your chosen foliage or flowers between the layers, the way you would when using a flower press.

step three

Set your table with the plate slightly to the side.

See you next time!
