Verdict on How to Make a Werewolf
How to Make a Werewolf brings the battle between werewolves and vampires to an Urban environment. It presents everyone as an everyday person who has a normal life, while holding a secret. This creates the build-up to a bigger war coming between the two sides.
The movie creates a more natural modern environment for the warring clans. A lot like how Underworld had different levels in the battle, we drop the futuristic concept to show us we are seeing normal people in combat. It holds back a lot of the transformations which works in continuing to show us a world where both sides live together. However, the movie is a little bit longer than it needs to be to get the same message across. It tends to try and bring a bit too much to the table.
