How to Have a Healthy All Inclusive Holiday: 5 Things to Do Today

By Djridings @fivethingsnow

1. At meal times stick to salads, green vegetables, meats and cheeses. Keep off carbs such as rice, bread and potatoes. The buffet system makes this very easy. Don’t obsess about it but be sensible.
2. Order still water with your evening meal. Don’t buy a large beer or an expensive bottle of wine. Keep things simple.
3. Don’t order food and drink just because you can. Try to eat when you are hungry and drink when you are thirsty. You don’t need a four course meal at every meal.
4. Try to exercise during the day. Walking or running for a mile first thing before you shower is a good idea. The hotel will probably have sports entertainment put on for you. Take advantage of it especially if you can do something relaxing such as yoga or water aerobics.
5. Talk to people. Be interested in what other guests have done in their day and what they think of the food etc!
