How to get the Threaded Needle Destiny 2 – Season of the Lost

These are the steps to unlock the Threaded Needle, you will need Parallax Trajectory, and a few Umbral Engrams to Decrypt at the HELM’s Prismatic Recaster (Requires Destiny 2 Season of the Lost / Beyond the Light Deluxe Edition):

1. Open the Prismatic Recaster’s menu (Check here how to unlock the Psimatic Recaster)
2. Select the Active Season option
3. Hover over the fourth Engram of the first section (Tools of the Chosen), you will need:
   1. x1 Umbral Engram: get them from any event, including Crucible matches and Strike missions
   2. x5 legendary Shards: You should already have them
   3. x150 Parallax Trajectory: Season 15’s currency

This is the easiest method of getting the Threaded Needle, but if you’re interested, and you purchased Season of the Chosen, there is an alternative method

How to get the Threaded Needle Destiny 2 – Past Content

These steps require Season of the Chosen, if you purchased it:

1. Main Menu > Season of the Chosen subscreen, these are the options
   1. Chosen Implements: Random Piece of gear (weapon or armor)
   2. Chosen Arms: Random weapon from Season 13
   3. Explosion and Detonation: Code Duello or Threaded Needle (random and costs 3 hammer charges)
   4. Chosen Destruction: Same as Explosion and Detonation, but the weapon (Code Duello or Threaded Needle) will have a perk choice and it costs 5 Hammer Charges

So you can play it at random rewards (Chosen Implements & Chosen Arms), which do not cost hammer charges. Or play it safe and farm hammer charges first, although you will always have a maximum 50% chance of getting Threaded Needle with Explosion and Detonation & Chosen Destruction

How to Farm Hammer Charges?

Season of the Chosen > Battlegrounds

If you upgrade the Hammer of Proving you will earn more Hammer charges at the end of each Battleground. If you fully upgrade the Hammer of Proving you can earn up to 3 Hammer charges per Battleground
