How to get the Witherhoard Destiny 2 – Updated 2021
These are the steps to unlock the Witherhoard (Requires Destiny 2 Shadowkeep):
- Go to the Tower > Courtyard
- Find the Exotic archive (between Lord Shaxx and Banshee 44) and open it
- Open the Shadowkep Exotic Archives and find the Witherhoard there
The downside is that it requires a few materials to buy it
- x1 Exotic Cypher: Complete Xur Contracts
- x100k Glimmer: Super easy, just play & farm
- x200 Glacial Starwort: Buy it from the spider (Tangled Shore), you will need glimmer or legendary shards
- x1 Ascendant Shard: Buy it from Banshee, you will need Glimmer, x10 enhancement Prism and also another random planetary material (*)
(*) Planetary material requirements are refreshed every 24 hours, so do not complicate yourself and wait a day or two until you can buy it with one of the materials that the spider sells
As you can see, the method is infinitely easier and faster than before.
Old Method – Season Rewards
Previously unlocked with the season pass. Of course, it came without the Catalyst, so it was necessary to reach the required season level and then unlock the catalyst through a mission that Banshee 44 gave you
- Collect 50 Vault Keys (defeat combatants using Kinetic or Special Grenade Launchers)
- Earn 300 Filthy Lucre from Nightfall Strikes, Gambit & Crucible matches
- Get 200 Grenade Launcher multikills
- Get 100 Guardian kills using a Grenade Launcher
