- A dozen cloves
- 9 tablespoons baking soda
- 1 liter of lukewarm water
- 1 bottle or glass jar
- 8 drops clove or lemon essential oil (optional)
To start, mix the cloves and baking soda together before filling the bottle with warm water. Then close the jar and shake. If you wish, add the essential oil then place the open jar near the toilet. The solution will thus absorb bad odors and diffuse a pleasant fragrance in the room.

An effective solution to descale the toilets
It is also possible to prepare a toilet cleaner based on cloves. To do this, simply mix a handful of cloves in a bottle of white vinegar.
