Ball of Yarn Recipe = Merge 2 Silk and reach level 5
So it all starts with a Silk, which is a drop from the Moth. Moths will spawn in every empty field adjacent to a Post Light (IV), and a Moth (VI) will give a total of 60x Silk. So it’s not a hard item to get
The slow part comes later, since you have to reach the merge stage level 5 to get the Ball of Yarn, if you only need Yarn it will be enough to reach level 2:
