Locate the entrance of the cave behind a mossy rock and enter it. Now, enter the pool of water. You will see the Branch in a cave.
When you enter the pool of water in the cave, you will see a cutscene as follows.
Paimon: “So this is where it was hidden. Wow, we might not have found this place without Aranakula leading the way…”.

Aranakula: “The leaves… They are near this big tree, but…”.
