How to Evolve Laurel in Vampire Survivors – Evolution Steps, Tips that will help you, and our opinion of the Laurel and the Crimson Shroud

Laurel creates a shield that protects from damage and briefly makes the player invulnerable upon triggering. The shield’s color changes based on the charges, one is blue, two is green, and three is yellow.

How to Evolve Laurel in Vampire Survivors – Steps

Evolving Laurel is quite simple, there are 4 steps in total:

  1. Unlock Laurel: starting weapon of Divano Thlema. unlocked by default
    • To unlock Divano Thlema: obtaining the Crimson Shroud
  2. Get the Laurel weapon to Level 8
  3. Get the Metaglio Right (passive item) and Metaglio Left (passive item): will spawn in all stages
  4. Collect a rare enemy’s chest that spawns once the counter gets to 10:00 (survive for at least 10 minutes)

Laurel Evolution Recipe > Laurel + Metaglio Right + Metaglio Left = Crimson Shroud

Tips to achieve evolution

  • Its extra survivability may seem useless if you are already killing everything before you take damage, but its automatic nature protects from stupid mistakes and being overwhelmed

How to Evolve Laurel in Vampire Survivors – Levels

Boosts by levels of the Laurel:

  • 1st Level: Shields from damage while active
  • 2nd Level: +0,2 seconds invulnerability (effect duration) & -0.5 seconds cooldown
  • 3rd Level: +0,2 seconds invulnerability (effect duration) & -0.5 seconds cooldown
  • 4th Level: +1 additional charge
  • 5th Level: +0,2 seconds invulnerability (effect duration) & -0.5 seconds cooldown
  • 6th Level: +0,2 seconds invulnerability (effect duration) & -0.5 seconds cooldown
  • 7th Level: +1 additional charge

At max Level Laurel will have +0,8 seconds (effect duration), +2 additional charges and -2 seconds cooldown

How to Evolve Laurel in Vampire Survivors – Crimson Shroud

  • Crimson Shroud’s incoming damage cap works on Death, with a few Armor they cannot kill your character instantly, making it viable for any character to survive their onslaught and kill them when combined with Infinite Corridor
