1. Open your WhatsApp account and tap on settings

2. Click on Account

3. Then, select two-step verification

4. Press Enable

Setting Up two-step verification:

When you tap on to enable you will be directed to process the following steps

1. Asks to enter 6 digit passcode(enter your code)

2. Confirm your passcode by tapping it again on next screen

3. Now, add your email address to secure your password if forget

4. Confirm your email address by typing again on next screen

5. Now it shows that two-step verification is enabled

How to disable two-step verification:

Simply, go to settings and then accounts and select two-step verification. Tap on disable and now you have successfully disabled this feature.

After recording many hacking accounts WhatsApp came out with two-step verification feature which stops the hacker from stealing or using your account.

When someone steals your sim card and tries to access your WhatsApp account it only opens when you enter your passcode. Others cannot access your account when they insert sim in another phone it only opens on entering the passcode.
