with the avocado. The recipes included are fit for those on paleo, but also can be AIP compliant and great for a round of Whole30.

More from the Paleopi post:

For some time now avocados have been all the rage. Restaurants are offering avocado as an ingredient to their dishes. For instance, some places you can order it as a topping to your burger; table side guacamole is a popular one too. So, what’s the big deal? The big deal is that avocado is a versatile, nutrient rich fruit that helps the body thrive. It’s an excellent source for good fats, fiber and potassium that can help with weight loss and heart health.

A healthy diet balanced with avocado has a great opportunity to help the body function optimally. Since avocados are so great, how do we get more of them (and their benefits) into our diet.

The idea behind the 20 Ways to Eat Avocados post was to give creative ideas to incorporate avocados into your meals. With that as a goal, Gray pulled together some of her favorite avocado recipes and ideas. The list includes some fantastic ideas and hopefully you’ll find a couple that you’d like to try. For instance, have you considered making an avocado ice cream or an avocado mousse for dessert. That may be a great way to get your kids to reap the benefits of the green fruit. What about an avocado salad dressing, smoothie or using avocados to make fries? The avocado is much more versatile than many people think.
