How To Drive Massive Traffic To Your Website Using Craigs List

I want to walk you through how to use Craigs List to Drive traffic to your website, all the time am hearing people say, hey I don't know how to drive traffic, am noting getting enough traffic. there are a million different ways to drive traffic, maybe I will go through that in the next blog post to share some of the ways that I use to drive traffic to some website that I have.

but today I want to focus on Craigs List and how you can drive traffic to your website using Craigs List and the best part is free, Craigs List is a classified ads website you probably know that. is one of the most popular classified ads websites on the internet.
Now, the key here is, will want to come in and post classified ads to our website in a different city. you will see that on https://www.craigslist.org home page, they list some of the top US city.
if you are from other countries you see the same top cities in your country, now this is the Good indicator which are the most traffic paying cities, so this city right there gives Craigs List the most traffic. this are also some of the biggest city in the US, you can see some other country there as well but let take the top US cities. even if they are listed there doesn't mean they are the most use, so what you can do is to go to http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo, Alexa will rank some of the top websites on the internet base on traffic.
Now, go to http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo and type in craigslist.org and hit go, what it does, it tell you the traffic for craigslist.org

but what you are looking for is Where people go on craigslist.org:


you can see that 7.5% go to sfbay.craigslist.org 6.6% go to newyork.craigslist.org5.6% go to losangeles.craigslist.org3.2% seattle.craigslist.org3.0% go to washingtondc.craigslist.org2.6% go to sandiego.craigslist.org
you can click more if you want, the list goes on and on, so I want to go with Sandiego let go back to craigslist and look for Sandiego since that is where the trafficarecoming from. okay I just click on SanDiego

then I will just click on post to classifieds

now, this's really important, just scroll down and click on service offered
and then what you are looking for is right here that says small biz ads

create your new account if you don't have one and go to your email to activate your account.
Again you be ask to post to the city of Sandiego click to choose the city
Now a page to post your ads will come up

let me post ads for upcoming product launch, you can post anything you want that will get people to your offer of a website, just anything, I just put my title in there, in the description, I can actually type in text if I want.

or I can take a banner or image that I have already created and post that image, it doesn't accept Html, so that is very nice. I can actually blog in a banner in there instead of Html, this's my banner I like to use

but before I do that, I want to able to track my traffic from Craigslist and see which posting give me the most traffic, so I wanna use a free tool called budurl
I wanna got to www.budurl.com and sign up for an account it will give you some paid option or free option, the free option gives you 250 budurl it doesn't give you all the tracking and analysis you might want, but start with a free version. so after getting your account, click on my budurl and click on add new budurl

now, create a new budurl, I will just put in my actual url http://www.fastwaystoearnmoney.com, I can customize the Alias for the budurl if I want too,  I can put in a note, okay let me just put in Craigslist  San Diego and click save.
it would now give me the actual budurl like http://budurl.me/8k4n I will just copy that. let me now go back to Craigslist and put my budurl link including the image I want to use, like this below, you can add an image without using any Html code, but you have to hit the continue link to see that page.

now will gonna hit Continue, you can see my ads
After posting your ads just leave that account for 7 days, and create a new one after 7 days.
Now, there are couple key things on Craigslist, Craigslist doesn't like you posting a lot of the same ads, but you can post the same ads to different city per day but to do that you have to get around the system, because their system will recognize duplicate, you wouldn't to do that because they will not accept them.
to post to different city per day on Craigslist, make sure to change the budurl and the link to your image, make sure to use different headline because you can't use it in the same week, but you can use the same headline after creating your new account in the next 7 days, you can also use different banner it work best. but if you like you can use the same banner, just make sure the link is changing.
