A friend asked me how he can block certain Whatsapp contacts from viewing his status. So I showed him the step by step on how he can easily execute it.
Okay, do you know that you can easily control who among your contact list can view your Whatsapp messenger’s status?
There are some posts you might want to hide from some of your contacts. Instead of blocking the contact, you can easily just add them to people who can’t view your status.

This can only work on your contacts. So if you’ve not added a number to your contact list, they can view your status.
How To Control Who Sees Your Whatsapp Status
Without wasting much of your time, let’s move on to how we can show selected contacts our Whatsapp status
First, go to your Whatsapp Messenger >>> click “Settings”
Click “Account” >>> Click “Privacy” >>> Click “Status”
Now, on “Who can see my status updates” Click “My contact Except…”
Chose the contacts you don’t want them seeing your status
Have you done that? If yes, click the big green √ button by the right side
Now click the “DONE” button
Congratulation, now you can post to your status, and the contacts you tick will not see them.
If you want them to view your status, just follow the same process as above and untick the contact you ticked, and they will be able to see your Whatsapp status.
