  1. Take white vinegar and equal portions of water. Vinegar dissolves mineral deposits naturally.
  2. Take the percolator, fill it with water mixed with a vinegar solution. Turn the stove burner on. If it’s an electric model, switch the power on.
  3. Once you’re done with percolating process, turn off the stove, allow it to cool. Once it’s cooled off drain the solution. Repeat the process again.
  4. Pour in some clean water to your percolator. Fill it in totally. Turn it on again. Throw away the water as soon as it is perked. Repeat this process.
  5. Add some baking soda, approximately half a cup. Keep adding the white vinegar slowly. Do this process until the mixture boils.
  6. Close the lid of the percolator. Shake the percolator gently for 1-2 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly with water several times. This will remove all stains. A non-abrasive wash pad can also be used for scrubbing.
